Erik Ten Hag makes finall decision between Dalot and Wan Bissaka in starting XI

The battle between Aaron Wan Bissaka and Diogo Dalot for the number one right back at Old Trafford has seen a winner emerge. 

When questioned about it at the beginning of March, Ten Hag responded, "I think the rivalry between them is pretty close. You might get a little bit more defense from Aaron, and a little bit more offense from Diogo.It's pretty tight, but I have to admit that I believe they have both made progress in both categories. When you have two players who are almost equal, you must control the opponent and the strain on the players.

"Then the form they are in is also an issue and then, of course, how is the team doing in the moment? Then you make your decision.”Ten Hag has preferred to play Dalot and Wan-Bissaka, than Malacia and Dalot. That is more a slight on the displays of Malacia, but if the Portuguese international had sustained his early season form, he might be guaranteed to start at right-back.
