As Ten Hag prepares for an incredible reunion with a former player, Man Utd may replace flop with a £44 million Ajax star.

According to reports, Ajax is open to hearing offers for Jurrien Timber this summer. Timber is thought to be a top target for Manchester United.

At the Johan Cruyff Arena, the defender was a coworker of Erik ten Hag, who made an attempt to sign him last summer. The management could now pique his curiosity once more.

However, given that Ajax has placed a hefty price tag on Timber, Man Utd will need to back up their claims if they want to close a deal.
