Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Erik Ten Hag wants to bring back Mason Greenwood to Old Trafford next season. Live2soccer have covered a report in which the former Ajax boss had spoken about 21-year-old Mason Greenwood ability to occupy the striker’s position with considerable skill. The United academy graduate had been suspended by the Red Devils last year following his arrest on charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive behaviour. The aforementioned charges were dropped in February this year after key witnesses withdrew from the case and the club are currently in the middle of a full-scale internal investigation. There have been rumours that the club will talk with their various stakeholders including the women’s team and the sponsors before taking a final call. It is now down to the club directors to make a say on Mason's Greenwood return to the club. Earlier reports have also indicated that Greenwood revealed to close friends that he would not play at the club anymore

Due to Lisandro Martinez's absence during Manchester United's final stretch, defensive cover is now more crucial than ever. Kim Min-jae from Napoli is reportedly United's first signing of the summer, according to Corriere dello Sport in Italy. According to the source, the club will speak with Kim and his agents once more this week before a medical and paperwork are finalized. But because of a provision in the South Korean's present contract, the agreement won't be made official just yet. Kim has a €60 million (£51.6 million) release clause as of July 1, the source claims. According to Tuttomercatoweb, Manchester United has also committed to a €3 million settlement to expedite this deal. This is what they have agreed to trigger.
