DONE DEAL: Liverpool Hijack Manchester United Target

Liverpool have signed Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven, the deal has been signed tonight between clubs. 

Gakpo will sign long-term deal later this week as contract is fully agreed too.

Liverpool will pay £37m plus add-ons, up to £50m potential package.

Gakpo will travel to England in the next days to undergo medical tests and then sign the contract.

Cody Gakpo has agreed a six year deal with Liverpool, same as Darwin Nunez last summer. All clauses have already been approved.

Guaranteed fee: £37m.

According to reports, Manchester United is seriously considering spending big money this summer to get Kim Min-jae from Napoli. Erik ten Hag is dissatisfied with the current crop of stars he has in central defense and is eager to add another alternative when the season is over. The South Korean international was acquired from Fenerbahce to replace Kalidou Koulibaly after the latter joined Chelsea, however he has only played one season in Serie A.
